Twinkle Parade Lights Streets as Holidays Approach
From the Albuquerque Journal
December 10, 2019 – If you were anywhere near Albuquerque’s Nob Hill Saturday night, you probably heard a symphony of oohs and aahs carried by the breeze.
The annual Twinkle Light Parade returned as local businesses, organizations and residents rolled west on Central Avenue in decked-out automobiles of all shapes and sizes, or on festive floats, or made their way by merrily marching along.
Hundreds of spectators – families, couples and kids – lined the street wide-eyed from Washington to Girard to take in the city’s twinkliest event of the holiday season.
The procession – from ambulances and vintage cars to school buses and even a Grinch-inspired cement mixer – cruised by decked out in an array of Christmas lights and decorations.
