Las Cruces Arts Fair to Celebrate 10th Anniversary March 6-8, 2020
February 19, 2020 – The Doña Ana Arts Council’s (DAAC) Las Cruces Arts Fair, the area’s most expansive collection of art and fine crafts, will celebrate its 10th anniversary when it returns to the Las Cruces Convention Center on March 6, 7 and 8, 2020.
Over 100 artists from across the country, some returning favorites and other first-time exhibitors, will offer work in eight categories, including jewelry, mixed media, fabric, painting and drawing, print making and photography, porcelain-pottery-glass, recycled materials, and woodwork-metalwork-sculpture.
Fair hours are 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The cost is $10 for adults and free for children 12 years and younger. Tickets are good for all three days. Tickets are available online at daarts.org, by calling the DAAC office 575-523-64-03, or at the door.
Each year, the Las Cruces Arts Fair highlights the talent of a local artist by designating a “Featured Artist.” The 2020 Featured Artist is Abel Garcia, a Las Cruces and Tortugas Pueblo native who is a 2001 graduate of Las Cruces High School, and received two degrees from New Mexico State University in 2008, a BFA in Art and a BFA in Art History.
